Alaskan Girl

I had the privilege this past weekend to photograph our former Mrs. Alaska!  Brandy wore the crown in 2006 and is famous for her “high heeled XtraTuf” boots that were actually custom made just for her!  Brandy is graduating from The University Of Alaska Southeast where she has been studying Environmental Science, Biology, Sociology and Anthropology.  This photo session was SO much fun!  Thanks so much for asking me to capture this important time in your life Brandy.  I wish you the best!

Spring Is In The Air!

Spring was definitely in the air yesterday!  The sun was shining and I had a great turnout for my Spring Mini Sessions!  Everyone looked so fresh, pretty, and handsome!  Definitely a treat for my winter weary eyes!  It was so hard to pick a favorite from each session but here you go…

Family Portraits

This fun family came to me last summer and wanted me to do their family pictures but our schedules could never work together.  I finally got them in and the weather wouldn’t cooperate.  I was so looking forward to some fun outdoor shots but it was blowing and raining :(  However, we ended up with some great shots.  Thank you, Briana , for allowing me to capture your family…finally!

What a busy little guy!  You can’t tell, but in most of these pictures, he was shooting me with a giant, plastic ,semi-automatic machine gun.  Hey, whatever works to get the shot right? 

Pretty As A Daisy

Another gorgeous senior!  This girl was SO much fun to shoot!  Her personality was just as sunny as her smile and let me tell you, she sure knows how to ROCK an old beat up truck!  She was up for anything!   

 

Friends Til The End

My senior also brought along her best friend to the shoot. They have been best friends since they were toddlers so I snapped a few photos of them together. Both girls are 2010 seniors and I will be doing miss BFF's senior shoot next month so look for her pretty face in an upcoming post!

My Best Customer

This is the fourth time I have done this young lady's photos and each time she is able to come up with fresh and new ideas. She knows exactly what she wants (which makes my job a whole lot easier), and she's a whole lot of fun to work with. Thank you Haley, for another fun photo shoot!
