Modern Maternity

Maternity portraits are my all time favorite photos to do. Most women are so against having their picture taken when they are pregnant so when I find one who asks me to photograph them in their pregnant glory, I am absolutely thrilled to death! I love to be able to give them a glimpse of how beautiful and amazing they are even thought they may feel huge and uncomfortable.

This gorgeous mom-to-be was no exception. She is a very confident woman and I believe that really shows in her photos. She also wanted a more modern/artsy feel to some of her pictures so I was so happy to use some of the ideas I had stored away, begging to be used at my next maternity shoot.

We also got dad and the older siblings involved as well but that will have to wait for another post. I wanted to give mom a sneak peek as I know she has been anticipating these.
