The new year has arrived, which gives me time to reflect on moments captured in the past year. I chose my favorite image from each photo session that I did in 2009 (not an easy task). Now, you get to choose YOUR favorite, but your job will be even more difficult, as you get to only choose 1 (yes, only ONE). All the photos have been numbered. Pick your favorite and leave a comment with your choice and why you are choosing it, along with your name by Sunday, January 10, at midnight. The subject of the photo with the most votes will get a free 8x10 of their image! Wait, there’s more! I will also be choosing one person out of all who comment to win a free photo shoot with ME! (sorry, only Prince of Wales residents will be eligible to win this prize). So, what are you waiting for? START VOTING!!!!

Okay...I know I'm not eligible, but I wanted to vote anyway! I love #10! It is beautiful and captures a precious moment between two people I don't even know! This moment of wonder is one every parent should hope to capture on film. Wonderful job Amanda! I am so impressed with your work!

Beautiful work! Pick just one! If I had to, I am drawn to number four.

I'm liking #4 or #20...
I think #4 is creative and brings out the amazing highlights in their faces...
and #20 looks like gods little gift :))) I've always wanted a picture of my son like that!
BUT i'm going with #20 :))

I pick 9 because of the pure enjoyment on the little boys face Christmas is a happy time and he sure shows it.
It's hard to choose just one pic, but I really love number 10. It's very natural and you caught Mom and Son in a great moment.

i vote for 19 and 9 because they are so cute!
I don't know if you have already announced the best of 2009 winner, but I am going with #4. Although all of the photos are good (you have a great eye),4 is artistic. Many times it is the job of a photographer to bring about perspective that others don't see. You captured that in this pic. If I win the photo shoot you can set me up when I come to visit POW again. Thanks for sharing the photos.
