She Had The Cutest Little Baby Face

This little princess came to me at 5 weeks old, which if you are a photographer, you know this is a VERY difficult age to photograph.  10 days to 2 weeks is ideal for newborn shoots and getting those adorable little poses.  The older they get, the less they like you to mess with them.  Little R was no exception to the rule.  Her poor mom and I sweated it out (as the room was hot hot hot to try to make her sleepy) for TWO whole hours trying to get her to sleep.  I managed to get some cute shots of those baby blues though and finally, in the very end…some slumber shots.

and finally, after pottying on the backdrop, pooping on the other, and spitting up all over me….she sleeps!
