Well, the great Southeast Alaska weather came through for us again this year. I don’t know why we expect any different. Every year it’s the same. Rain, rain and more rain. Although this year, Mother Nature decided to throw some snow and hail in there too. Us “locals” call this Fish Egg Weather. It’s when the herring come in to lay their eggs and everyone goes out to harvest them for eating. Fish eggs, Easter eggs…same difference right? Here you can see the “wall” of rain and snow coming in to pelt all the poor little egg hunters
Everyone got VERY wet and a little cold but managed to find quite a few eggs. Owen even found the GOLDEN EGG! (No comment on the creepy Easter bunny, yikes.) Happy Easter everyone!!!!
